Join us and plunge into the cool Atlantic Ocean and snorkel with hundreds of playful Cape Fur seals, in the wild, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Hout Bay harbor, just 20km from Cape Town central! Hout Bay is known for its scenic views, delicious fish and chips and the most adorable sea animals; the Cape fur seal. Known as the ‘dogs of the ocean’, Cape fur seals are one of the most playful animals you can encounter in their natural environment.

You can interact with them in their environment, on their terms. No cages, no attracting, it’s just you and the seals in the open ocean. If you love getting salty and experiencing the natural world, this is the best thing to do in Cape Town!  We are the seal snorkeling experts and are dedicated to getting you in the water with these fantastic creatures. Our teams of passionate marine guides are keen to share the beauty of the ocean with you.

If you aren't that into snorkeling but would like to come along on the boat and watch your friends and family snorkel, you can do so at a cost of R550 per person.
Want to record your special moments underwater?
The camera rental is R350 and includes use of the camera and the 16GB micro SD card to take home.

Join us at our Snorkeling Centre and enjoy hot showers, private change rooms, free Wi-Fi and coffee. Our vessels take 10 snorkelers and will get you to the snorkeling site, Duiker Island, quickly and safely. Cape Fur seals are most active and abundant in the heat of Cape Town’s summer.
So beat the heat – join us!
